Physical & Online Course - HRDC Refund Applicable - A Certificate will be awarded to each participant.
The student will be exposed to the art of directing. This includes an introduction to directing actors, the role of the camera, choreography, make-up, costume, and all of the departments. They will learn on set etiquette and how to effectively communicate with crew members. And how to get the best performance out of actors. They will learn the language of the different types of shots, the casting process, finding appropriate locations.
THEORY
The 1st week will involve an introduction to the theory with regards each specific module.
PRACTICE
The 2nd week will involve the physical production of a 3-minute film, by students organized in teams, which will be conceived, prepared, filmed and edited by themselves.
MENTORING
These films and students will be mentored by the Tutors;
Students will be encouraged to build up a body of work, both during and after their courses.
Students will be encouraged to specialize from the beginning.
And to form creative teams where they will learn to work in groups.
